• No device identifiers are collected (IMEI, Android ID, Advertising ID)

• No analytics or crash reporting systems are integrated

3. External Services

The app connects to the following external services exclusively in a read-only capacity to retrieve public information. No personal data is transmitted to these services:

• RSS Feeds — sports news aggregation from public sources
• GitHub — reading a cached JSON file with aggregated news
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) — geocoding locations for map markers
• API-Football (RapidAPI) — results, standings, and statistics
• Yahoo Finance / Polygon.io — financial and stock market data
• Polymarket — odds and predictive markets
• OpenWeatherMap — stadium weather data

4. Locally Stored Data

The app saves exclusively the following data on your device:

• News cache: aggregated RSS data to reduce network requests
• Geocoding cache: coordinates of previously searched locations
• User preferences: filters and custom settings

All local data is permanently deleted upon uninstalling the app.

5. Cookies and Tracking

The app does not use cookies, web beacons, browser fingerprinting, or any other tracking technologies.

6. External Links

The app may display links to external articles and websites. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of the destination website applies. FootINet is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
